Sometimes, one has to take a kick up the backside for what it can be, instead of what it feels like at the moment: an opportunity. In my case, the combination of Brexit and Covid forced me to rethink my priorities, and choose where best to focus any creative energies left after a day on the muck heap of our Highland farm The Hirsel. No regrets. But that means that the (very) occasional blog I’ve been posting on here, will likely be even more occasional, as I’ll be focusing on writing blogs that tie in with my life – our lives – on the farm. So, goodbye for now…see you up on the farm, for a different – but not much – View From the Hill.
