Events & Workshops

At this writing (19 November 2013), the credits below are all excerpted from Donna DuCarme’s CV.  As BizArts grows into a network and takes on projects, this page will be adapted.

The following events events are those I hosted and/or produced at the ABC Treehouse from January 2006 to December 2011. Events marked with a ** are those which I had an active “hands on” role in producing and/or organizing, in addition to hosting. Prior to this I’d also organized projects ranging from fundraising events to the first (and only?) St. Patrick’s Day parade in San Jose California, and events as diverse as private parties and large scale 4th of July festivals in New York.

In January 2006, I became director of the Treehouse in Amsterdam the Netherlands, and hosted all activities that took place at that center, as well as many outside events (not listed here, but including college info faires, off-site book markets, and community events) to promote our activities. “Hosting” could be as simple as conducting an initial site visit with the client, and making sure the facility was set up per their needs, then leaving them to it… to acting as an on-site host or extra pair of hands during the event.

The listings below are taken directly from the monthly Treehouse e-letters; text was written by the presenting organization.
